Brigita Rumung is a communication and community practitioner and learner.

She comes from Flores Island, eastern Indonesia. She wants to take part in creating a better health communications ecosystem in her native Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia.

Brigita is a passionate community and communication learner and practitioner. She is currently lives in Seattle, WA, to pursue her master's degree at the University of Washington.

Brigita holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, majoring in journalism and media studies. She has been concerned with community and communication development since college. This journey has brought her up to several community and communication works for the last 6 years with various non-profit organizations in Indonesia.

Brigita's lifework is mostly related to health and education, environment, and human rights. Recently, she is honing her communications' passion in maternal health with a leadership background.
